Take the bus to Furong Town, the ancient town with a history of over 2,000 years, known as the "Chu-Shu Link." Furong Town is the filming location for the movie "Furong Town." Formerly known as Wangcun, it's an ancient town with a history of over 2,000 years. It was renamed "Furong Town" after the film "Furong Town," starring Jiang Wen and Liu Xiaoqing, was filmed here.

From 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, experience China's most beautiful town—Fenghuang Ancient Town—as seen in the writings of Shen Congwen, the paintings of Huang Yongyu, the songs of Song Zuying, the piano playing by Tan Dun, and the chess of Luo Xihe. (The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, and the ancient town shuttle bus fare is 28 yuan per person.) Nestled amidst verdant mountains, the Tuoshui River flows through the city. A red stone street, a row of small stilt houses, a weathered ancient city wall, a weathered castle, the unique Qiliang Cave, a majestic ancient stone bridge, and a community of world-renowned people… Everything is breathtakingly beautiful, inspiring Shen Congwen's poem "Border Town," which depicts his beloved homeland in a poetic, dreamlike, and moving way. From the Wanming Pagoda, which stands by the river, to the long, ancient bluestone streets, you'll find a wide variety of Miao silverware, mouth-watering snacks, unnamed local specialties, and the stunning paper-cuttings of Miao elders.
Friendly reminder: If you're interested in visiting the Nine Scenic Spots of Fenghuang, please pay your own entrance fee of 128 yuan per person. These include the former residences of Shen Congwen and Xiong Xiling, the Yang Family Ancestral Hall, the East Gate Tower, the North Gate Jumping Rock, the Wanshou Palace, the Fenghuang Museum, the Chongde Hall, and the Tuojiang River rafting tour.
